At LabStart, we support brilliant entrepreneurs willing to bring bold climate ideas to market. Our 2026 Launch cohort includes six fellows with outstanding talent and hustle, and they inspire us every day.

Let’s get to know them better!

Tinia Pina: Stealth

From: Fairfax, VA
Currently: New York, NY

Tinia is creating drop-in renewable, liquid coolants for data centers, delivering water-class performance without the corrosion, fouling, or regulatory and project termination risk.

Q: What first sparked your interest in entrepreneurship?

A: Even as a young girl, despite not having any family members who are entrepreneurs, I always had a deep inner knowing that I was going to work for myself.

I’ve always been incredibly entrepreneurial in spirit, often being the first to take the lead on things and start new groups, projects, campaigns—but I never envisioned how my life would exactly play out.

I just knew then, and remain firm now, that anything I give my heart, energy, and resources to has to be of purpose and creating things for the common good; something that I can feel deeply good about and my family can be proud of.

Q. What problem is your startup solving?
A. We help thermal energy engineers not solely depend on our most precious resource, water, for daily critical needs such as heat management. With excessive use of water, there’s risk of project cancellations due to increasing regulatory scrutiny and demands. Engineers are challenged to find alternatives that can offer water-class performance without toxicity and without the strong, rightful public pushback.

The management of thermal energy efficiency is not limited to data centers and can also be applied to adjacent industrial facility, automobile, and HVAC sectors.

Q: Why are you excited about this LabStart cohort?
A. LabStart has a team of operators that have scaled science breakthroughs and deep technologies within late-stage companies—and have experienced all the inflection points that come with it. This means my learning curve for a highly technical product with very mature companies in large industries is far less, and I can move faster as a result of the lessons they’ve provided.

I think most founders, especially during their first venture, are not privileged to be working directly with these types of advisors for the amount of time that we are. I’m extremely grateful because I’m afforded the opportunity to dissect one risk at a time with their mentorship.

Q. How is LabStart transforming your journey?
A. LabStart has already transformed my journey because of how quickly they helped create a community around this particular investment lens and technology focus.

The fellowship has allowed me to work with other companies in my cohort that, as a whole, create a uniquely balanced group.

We have some founders that are lawyers, some that are business developers and operators, and some that are scientists. That allows me to benefit from each person’s mindset, which ultimately helps how I develop this company.

Meet our other fellows!
